Review of the movie, Thor: the Dark World

Preface

 : I've seen this movie in a CGV located in Busan. I really hurried up not to lose the starting time. I've arrived about 5 minutes earlier. There were less people and many empty seats. That was good except one thing, the advertisement. There were lots of them.

 The actual movie started about 15 minutes later after 10:30 which was supposed to begin the movie. KT, Sky, LG U+, Hyundai Card, Fila, Geumho, Cheiljedang, Trailers and so on...I didn't come here to see these. The ticket costs 8,000 won. Yes it's 3D but...

 Nevertheless, the disappointment was turned over after watching the thor.

Fantasy, spectacles, some comedy and melos. If you like them or the previous movie, I recommend it to you.

What to watch - to see the movie better 

 - If you haven't seen the previous episode or seen a long time ago, you'd better go to theater after watching it.

 - In this movie, you are going to see science and fantasy mixed. They try to explain fantastic phenomenon. It's also worth listening. 

 - Don't expect the in-tense melo between man and women or flawless story line. If you want spectacles, vehicles, weapons and so on, you'd better go to watch it.

Comparing the brightness of the flashlight of phones and smartphones.

Preface

 : I wanted to use the flashlight on my smartphone to take a picture better. I picked up a phone but I wanted a brighter light. And the I came to think that I've seen many comparisons of performance or features of the phones and smartphones but I had never seen any comparison of the flashlight. Yes I decdied to write it. 

Conclusion

The winner was the Galaxy Note 1.

Which device are compared

1. LG LF1300 - This is very old one, my feature phone before I enter the world of the smartphone. Now I use it as a second phone.

2. LG P705 - This is what I got for my work. It's give from a company therefore it's not mine officially.

3. Motorola MB861 - This is what I use as my phone. 

4.  Samsung Galaxy Note 1 - This is used one I bought with a cheap price.

5.  Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 - While looking for a device with Android version above 4.00, I found it with cheap price. I didn't plan to use it but came to like it. Yep, Steve Jobs! Now I see your vision.

: I had used to store the tab in my bag while moving around. One time, a drag made me find other way to carry it. I remember putting it on my back pocket of the trousers. And then I came to think what about putting it in the inside pocket of my suit. Finally I came to decide to write this article.

It's fit into my inside pocket. 

With the plastic cover, I tried to put it on my front pocket. There is a space left.

And then I tried put it into the inside pocket of my suit. But I couldn't.

After removing the protecting case, it was input  inside fit.

As you see it's just like there is nothing in there.

Conclusion : Yes, the secret was the size of the inside pocket.

Review of the movie, Gravity

Preface

 : I've got the change to watch a movie on a theater. And I plan to go to theater for more than 7 times before the end of this year. 

 I expected something of SF added movie after looking at the poster and the trailer. But It was a very realistic movie. Yes it describes what would happen in space in a very realistic way.

What to watch 

  - It shows the earth from the space very well. I wonder all the way of the movie how they filmed the earth. It's just like someone went up into the space to film the earth. And it's not a CG at all....  

 - The behavior and the life without gravity? If you are curious about it, just watch this. And it shows what it means without air. 

 - Soyuz, and a Chinese satellite. You can see the inside of them. If it is the same with the real satellite. It would worth watching the movie.

What not to expect 

  - There is not enough tension of story line and love

 -  To describe the activities in space, just moving in space takes much time. 

 -  You may feel some tense while you watch the movie. But not that much thrill there. And already many movies showed a man confined in a narrow place. It's nothing new. 

The filming in a space is amazing or at least it just looks like a real space. But nothing more than that

Rooting Galaxy Tab 7.7

Preface

 : I wanted to test the performance of the Galaxy Tab 7.7. The big movie would be best for the testing. I tried to copy the files on the SD card but I couldn't because FAT32 format didn't allow copying any file which are bigger than 4 Gbyte. I had to format it into NTFS. And then I could copy them. But it was not the final solution. The Galaxy Tab couldn't recognize the NTFS sd card. The only way is to use NTFS mounting apps which are not executable without root permission.

1. Rooting is so simple - Just download and install ExynosAbuse APK v1.40 on the Galaxy Tab. And then run it.

 Step 1.  Download Apps

 Step 2. After running the apps, you are going to see the following screen. And press "Root Device" among the menu.

Step 3. And then "granting root" message will appear like the following. Press the "grant".

Step 4. And then if you run the apps again, you are going to see the "Root Device" deactivated. Yes it's successfully rooted.

2. Brief Explanation on the app - It's made by "Alephzain" and works on the Exynose 4 based device.

 2.1 With this apps, you can root and uproot anytime you want. 

 2.2 It roots device in a way of SuperSU v0.99.

 2.3 It cause some trouble on camera but there is a solution.

 2.4 The compatible devices are like followings.

The oldies but goodies, Reply 1994. Compassionate and comedy

Preface

 : Never ending drama. Slow but clearly developing. But still I have some complaints on the casting itself. It seems that there is a personal connection oriented casting in Korean drama. 

Storm of compassion and comedy - A country guy came to Seoul, the capital of Korea.  It starts with a country guy first time coming to Seoul. I think everybody would have compassionate feeling in a different scene. It reminded me of my fist coming to Seoul. I was also surprised with the high story building, looked up and then started counting stories. And my cousin said, "In Seoul, if you count as many stories as you count, you are going to be fined for it." And I stopped doing it and secretly peeped the building. Yes, this is what anyone would heard of. 

 And a fan girl who are crazy for Seotaiji and boys, a girl who are crazy for the basketball star. Yes they were like that. 

 The clothes, the bags, beepers, TV, Radio, Entertainers, Meeting, Foods and the music.

If you are in late thirties or early forties now, I recommend it.

32G Flash Memories(USB memory and Micro SD card) Review

Preface

 : The storage is one of the products which I am so cautious on buying. I feel so happy in the lowering price of the products. I have 16 Gb flash memories, which becomes not sufficient to store all the data.

1. How I came to buy them - I came to need to buy a screen cover for the Galaxy Tab 7.7 which costs less than 10,000 won. Considering the delivery fee, buying it online would be so wise. Therefore I decided to buy other products together. I usually buy computer products through the website, ICODA(http://www.icoda.co.kr). The price is slightly high in Icoda than in Gmarket. The following is the list of the products I bought.

 Nowadays, you can buy 32 Gb flash memories with around 20,000 won.

 Here, what is worth noticing is the unfamiliar brand, Super Talent. I came to decide to buy them because it's just cheap. Because it was the only flash memory with the Class 10 of the price. You can see the price of the other products.

 As you see above, Super Talent is the only brand which costs around 20,000 won(20 dollars). It's suspicious. Why is it so cheap?

 After browsing on the Internet, I found the Super Talent a company specialized in producing storage devices such as Memory cards, SSD card and so on.

  And then I read some articles on it by browsing blogs. I finally decided to buy it.

2. Deliver and Unpacking -  No need to say anything. Just look.

The first impression of the Super Talent was that it looks very old-fashioned. 

3. The performance and the actual use  -  There was no error and the performance of the Super Talent was good enough. You can see the details below. And I was sure of the performance of Transcend because I have been using 16 Gb flash memory drive.

3.1 Capacity

Both were recognized very well on the computer. If you look above, you can see there is slight difference in capacity between them. I don't know why. The discrepancy is about 965 Mbyte. The capacity of Super Talent is 1 Gbyte lower than the Transcend. This is why it's cheap? There is a difference in the first used space. I also don't know why.

3.2 Speed

Super Talent Micro SD

 I came to copy data. As you see above, the speed is different in each time. The average is about 14 Mb/s. Below there are the results of testing by H2testw.

Super Talent Micro SD

There is no error found on the Super Talent Micro SD card. But there is speed difference about twice of the speed between in actual copying and the testing. Anyway the writing speed was 7.63 MByte/s and reading was 19.0 MByte/s. As you see below, it's faster than the Transcend Stick Memory Drive.
