The Diagnosis through the system of the Korean National Health Insurance is done properly? - Busan Sokpyeonhan Internal Medicine
: The health diagnosis is what I get every year. It seems to me not that important... I don't get much from the basic diagnosis.... Anyway, I pay about 50,000 won to 100,000 won monthly for the insurance. I have to get the medical diagnosis, right??
I postponed again and again and in December, I got that. It takes about a day to finish all the scans... But I didn't see a sincere or devoting hospital or nurse or doctors for this regular scans... I think the whole population go through... it becomes a kind of routine work... which makes people insensitive...
But the Insurance Corporation seems to do many things to get it done... I got the following guide book twice and got a phone call to urge me to get the diagnosis... including SMS text message. I know it's for their own good to save money... If they find a disease more earlier, they can save that amount of money...
1. At first you have to go to the reception desk and show your ID or your health card. And the officer there will give you a paper to fill in.
2. I went there about 10 am but my scan was scheduled about 1 pm... I had to wait... And you also.. Long waiting line. Lots of seniors..
3. When I got there around 1 pm. A nurse called my name. And she gave me a paper, a syrup taste bubble remover and 1 mouth piece. And asked me to drink the bubble remover... And ask me again if I ate something...within 8 hours from now.. I hadn't eaten anything from 10 pm yesterday.
4. I've got the scan process almost 1 pm. Really punctual. I realized why people want the scan in sleep. I had that scanning when I was about 22 years old... It was so easy to me.... no vomitting at all... That's why I chose no sleeping... But I got....so... and later even bleeding on my throat.
5. There were more than dozens of beds arranged in a room divided by a curtain. Each compartment had each equipment. With 2 nurses and 1 endoscope doer. Even when I did nausea hard, she didn't stop moving the endoscope... this made me feel pain in my throat. And it was getting worse. They said many things such as "release tension", "if you continue, you might bleed". And later even tears got my eyes... This was so painful... Damn.. And worse thing is that I got embarrassed...
For the while, they found some inflammation... And they asked me to allow for them to get the Helicobacter pylori from the part.... Later it turned out to be nothing to worry... but it has something to do with money making...
I have to explain the fee... Generally, it's free... I mean basic scanning is free but If I get the sleep endoscopy, I have to pay about 53,000 won more.. for this. This is a huge money for the hospital... This is for detecting a stomach cancer...but...

1. I came to reason why it was very hard to me. Usually they do the sleep endoscope... which means they are more familiar in that way... In a way they might force clients to take the sleep endoscope. They could do in a slow way or give a time for me to be accustomed with it... But they didn't.
2. And also another aspects.. there were so many patients... They prefer efficiency... And you will have to wait...
3. They did it to bleeding... It's not good at all..
